Culture Days describes itself as a national celebration of arts and culture. Its national organisation supports a network of arts, culture and heritage organisers who offer free public events in communities across Canada.

The initiative takes place each fall. Its event guidance asks organisers to give activities a clear connection to arts, culture or heritage. That makes the official listings a useful place to look for a creative experience and to understand what participation involves.
Before you visit
Read the individual listing for booking details, access information and any materials you may need. Our suggestion is to choose something unfamiliar: a new art form or a venue you have not visited. This is an invitation to explore, not a promise that any particular activity is available on your chosen day.
